Easy Peasy Delicious Alfredo Fettuccine Two Ways Episode 13

Sharon’s Alfredo Sauce

1/2 cup butter

8 oz cream cheese

4 cloves of garlic chopped

2 cups milk

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/8 tsp black pepper

Melt butter in non-stick pan over medium heat

Add cream cheese and garlic. Whisk till smooth

Slowly add milk while constantly whisking

Stir in cheese and pepper

Sauce will thicken quickly, if too thick add more milk

Toss over hot pasta. Enjoy!

Suzy’s Alfredo Sauce

2 tblps organic olive oil (in the video Suzy accidentally states 1/4 cup oil)

1 head of garlic chopped (about 8 cloves)

1/4 cup butter

1 tblps organic whole wheat flour

1 1/2 cup evaporated milk plus 1/2 cup water (you can substitute with 2 cups milk or cream)

1 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

In a saucepan cook garlic in olive oil till lightly brown over medium heat. Add butter, melt. Stir in flour than add milk, water and cheese. Cook and whisk till cheese is melted; it thickens up as it cools. Toss cooked fettuccine or your favorite pasta or try making homemade pasta from Episode 12. In the video Suzy served with 8 oz sliced mushrooms, 1 sliced chicken breast, 1 clove garlic, 1 chopped green onion, fresh spinach sautéed together serve with the Alfredo Fettuccine.
